CoveringsETC will unveil an exclusive design piece created by the young designer Julie Richoz using our Bio-Glass for Wallpaper* Handmade exhibition in Milan during Salone Del Mobile.
New York, NY, March 31, 2016 (Newswire.com) - CoveringsETC has collaborated with Wallpaper* Magazine and Swiss-French designer Julie Richioz to create an exclusive Bio-Glass room divider to be unveiled at Wallpaper* Handmade during Salone del Mobile 2016. The design piece was created to separate the living space of a hotel room and designed to be purely aesthetic or functional as shelving, while playing with translucent light in the Bio-Glass.

Each year Wallpaper* Handmade presents an annual exhibition in Milan during Salone del Mobile. During the fair Wallpaper* acts as client, patron and creative director, commissioning the finest artists, designers, craftsmen and manufacturers across the globe to design and produce unique and exclusive furniture, fittings, fashion and accent pieces.
Julie Richoz is a Swiss-born Paris-based young designer specializing in elegant designs made of glass and porcelain. Ms. Richoz is a graduate of École Cantonale d’Art de Lausanne, in Renens and the winner of 2012 Villa Noailles prize. She was a designer-in-residency at Sèvres, Cite de la céramique, as well as at CIRVA, international research center on arts and glass. Besides her gallery work she collaborates with companies such as Alessi, Artecnica and CoveringsETC.
